Dandeli Wildlife

At a distance of 13 km from Dandeli Bus Stand, Dandeli Wildlife Sanctuary is situated on the banks of the River Kali at Dandeli in Uttara Kannada district of Karnataka. This is the second largest sanctuary in Karnataka and also one of the best places to visit in Dandeli.

Dushsagar Falls

Dudhsagar is one of the India’s tallest waterfalls having the height of 310 m (1017 feet) and an average width of 30 meters (100 feet). The fall of water from that height creates the illusion of a literally sea of milk falling from the top.

Sri Mallikarjuna Temple

Pre-dating the Shivaji fort, Sri Mallikarjuna Temple stands as yet another oldest and most important Dandeli places. The temple witnesses pilgrims throughout the year. Majorly famous for the incomparable architecture of the temple.

Butterfly Park

The Joida Butterfly Park is spread across 15 hectares, of which five hectares are being used for the butterfly park. The forest division also plans to retain the rest of the area as a forest and plans to open jungle trails in the future.
